Primrose Valley Holiday Park - A flagship all-action ParkSubstantially developed in recent years to become Haven’s flagship Park in the North, Primrose Valley’s all-action facilities include a terrific multi-level pool complex and water fun area, two more pools, a boating lake, fun fair, coarse fishing lake - there’s even an adventure Ropes Course. If you and the kids simply want it all, here’s the very best of everything. Feel free to fill each day in just your own way. Every family is different of course, but a typical day might begin with a lazy lie in or a family Wake 'n' Shake session. It could be a morning in the Large Multi-Level Heated Pool Complex with Fun Pools and SplashZone or trying the Ropes Course & Zip Wire. And then... Lunch out at a great little pub or pop into our Mash and Barrel: Lounge-Bar-Café. Afternoon at the FunFair and Fun Tower, off exploring Yorkshire or enjoying a relaxing time on the Boating Lake. Early evening enjoy a stroll along the seafront, a sunset bike ride or a barbecue. Then head off to the ShowBar for a drink, live music and dancing. Explore the areaFiley is a traditional English seaside resort and is a fishing town on the North East coast of England. Filey is the perfect location whether you prefer an active holiday or whether you would just like to relax. Most of the town stands above the sea on a cliff which provides beautiful views of the bay below. The bay runs from Filey Brigg to the chalk cliffs of Speeton, and with its 5 mile stretch of sand it is a perfect place to enjoy a leisurely stroll.

Character OlympicsJoin Rory and the rest of Team Haven for this major event on the holiday sporting calendar - it’s not the fastest contestant who wins the Gold. More suited to under-12s, but parents are encouraged to support their children. Available throughout the season. Coke FC Football CoachingA very popular opportunity for boys and girls to sharpen their ball skills and tactical play, and play real games, under the expert eye of a qualified coach. Early booking advisable. PLUS look out for our special World Cup programme during June and July 2010. Suitable for 5-16 yr olds, with different sessions for different age groups. Available throughout the season. Tennis Coaching*Professional coaching sessions are available during the peak season for everyone from 5 years upwards. Outside these sessions the courts are free of charge, for family games. A brilliant way for the whole family to exercise together. Suitable for 5+yrs. Available 23rd July – 31st August. Archery Coaching*A top target, including all equipment hire and a qualified instructor. An engaging sport for everyone from 5 to 75, and a chance to try something new and make new friends. Available throughout the season. Fencing Coaching*One of the oldest sports in the world. Fencing, the art of combat involving special swords called foils. Amazingly good for fitness, speed, concentration and co-ordination, this is now available all season. Coaching includes full equipment, for everyone from 8 years upwards. Available throughout the season. Kids AliveKids Alive is Haven’s very own programme created specifically to inspire children of all ages to become more physically and mentally active. It combines various sport and water activities as well as encouraging healthy eating. Children collect the stamps on their Kids Alive Passport every time they take part in an activity or choose a healthy option from the kids’ menu on Park. The ever popular Wake and Shake sessions are a variety of easy, low impact activities designed to get the “whole body” moving. The whole family can join in with sessions targeted towards younger children encouraging them to join in with lots of easy to do fun fitness activities. Wake & Shake SessionsThese free mid-morning sessions are part of the Kids Alive programme to encourage healthy lifestyles, and they’re a lot fun for all the family. The routines include a variety of easy, low impact activities like Space Hoppers and Frisbee Fun, together with more stretching sessions of Agility Fun and Mini Trampolines. Water Walkerz*Big clear globes that you climb inside, the idea being to “walk” around the pool (like a hamster in a wheel). Hilarious and frantic fun as well as an exhilarating way to exercise your entire body. Suitable for 8+ yrs. Maximum weight limit 16 stone/102kg. Available throughout the season. Turbo Paddlers*Welcome to the pool pedalo, you saw it first at Haven. The faster you pedal the more furious the fun and action. A fleet of these solo craft can raise quite a storm. Pedal your way around the pool to make a real splash. Suitable for 4-8 yrs. Children must wear a life vest. Available throughout the season. AquaJets*Get the feel and excitement of exploring the underwater world. These nifty little powered submersibles pull you through and under water with a fish-like ability to turn, twist and dive. Invigorating fun and breathless excitement. Suitable for 8+ yrs. Must be able to swim 25m unaided. Available throughout the season. Fun Inflatables*These lively sessions with giant whacky inflatables have proved so popular we’re rolling them out on all Parks in 2010. Learn2SwimThere’s nothing more exciting than watching your child learn to swim and achieving confidence in the water. At Haven, your child will be aided by our professional instructors with 5 different levels of achievement attainable - and all absolutely free. Not only will they have a great time and be total water babies, one of the Characters will be popping in to see how they’re getting on as well as the children receiving their Certificates live on stage - a great memory to take away. Please Note For access, Children under 8 and non-swimmers under 14 MUST be accompanied by a responsible adult. An adult may be responsible for only 2 children under 8 at any one time. Non-swimmers and beginners must not go out of their depth, and wearing approved swimming aids is highly recommended. Thorough and important safety factors are designed into all our pool areas. Poolwatch ensures that fully qualified Lifeguards are patrolling all areas and ensuring safe behaviour, at all times for you and your family. Direct Beach accessPrimrose Valley Holiday Park has its own wide and sandy beach, with sloped access direct from the holiday Park. Perfect for sunbathing, building sand castles or exploring the natures of the sea. This beach is sure to keep the whole family entertained throughout your stay at Primrose Valley. Laser Combat*Compete against your family and friends in an arena in this exciting battle of tag using laser guns. Suitable for everyone 5 yrs upwards. Ropes Course* and Zip Wire*Primrose Valley's Ropes Course is a fun and challenging activity where guests make their way around a course on ropes elevated in the air, encountering many challenges along the way. The lake has many types of fish including Carp, Tench and Bream and if you are really lucky you are able to catch fish weighing up to 30lb. Kids' Clubs For 1-16's at Primrose ValleyOur Kids’ clubs for different age groups, professionally run by our experienced FunStars, can be a great get-together and ‘ice-breaker’ for kids. Our clubs are free – you can just come along to meet and make friends and join in the fun. Excitement and expectations run high on holiday, especially for children. All sessions are well organised by FunStars experienced with little ones, and the imaginative activities and events range from soft play to paint away days. It can be stimulating and relaxing for mums and dads too. Club R&B for 5-11'sJoin Rory the Tiger and Bradley the Bear, at our free and fun-packed Club R&B, especially created for energetic kids aged 5-11. Popular games, exercise, music, crafts & much more plus the opportunity to join either Rory’s Tiger team or Bradley’s Bear team. There’s even a membership badge for everyone who joins Club R&B! Plus all games and competitions earn points for your team which roll over into the ‘Rory & Bradley’s Fun Factor’ in the evening. Great fun, with lots of laughs and a brilliant time guaranteed. T-Co. Annabel's Creative KitchenRun by the FunStars and created by Annabel, these session include making (and enjoying) yummy but healthy food, cake making and decorating. Catch the children in their Annabel Karmel branded hats and aprons and take a picture with their special certificate at the end of the event. From breakfast time to early bedtime, Roy the Tiger, Bradley the Bear and the rest of the Haven characters are on a vital quest – to eliminate all dull moments with a variety of fun shows, whacky capers, games and competitions. Every day from breakfast time a full programme of free family entertainment kicks off until early bedtime. The Haven Characters ably assisted by the intrepid FunStars, boldly launch into family Pantomime favourites and call on Zoo Troop, Professor Schloops and even DJ Ned to keep the family holiday atmosphere on high alert. Character BirthdaysAt all Parks on selected 4 night midweek breaks, we’ve the perfect party time for families, with lots of fun, special celebrations and magical moments for little ones.

Meet 'n Greet the GangA magical opportunity to meet all the Haven Characters, as well as get their autographs and a photo - something to treasure as a memento of a very special holiday moment. Panto TimeAlways a timeless treat with children and parents alike, giving the traditional favourites some hilarious new twists. The puns are awful, the costumes outrageous, the audience screaming - unmissable! Appearing 23rd July - 31st August Rory and the last DragonIn the kingdom all is quiet, until one day a strange visitor appears! Is it the last Dragon? Why is it here?
