Welcome note

Welcome to the annual Primrose Valley RC Model car holiday. The Holiday week itself has been running for well over 20 years now, but in 2008 the model week which used to comprise of planes and boats as well as cars split to separate sites, with the RC Car section continuing to run at the superb Haven Holiday site. Please note that although we do use the Haven facilities Haven are in no way connected to the model week. It is solely run by volunteers, with us supplying all of the equipment needed to run the week. We pay to use the other Haven facilities in the same way that every other holiday maker does.

As mentioned the week is run by volunteers and the aim of the week is to bring keen RC car enthusiasts from all over the country together for a week full of racing and socialising, meeting new enthusiasts and long term friends who return each year to help keep the week successful.

We try to provide a week packed with racing, from micro through to 1/8th scale, on road or off road, sadly the only class we cannot cater for is large scale 1/5 as the safety fence needed with members of the public present would cost far too much. The aim is to give you every opportunity to race everyday, but if you wish to have a day off sightseeing then that is fine as qualifying for finals day is run over the course of the week. It is your holiday so it is run with everyone in mind.

We would like to wish all modellers and enjoyable week and we welcome any comments and ideas that people may have about their holiday.
